We are a friendly traditional mounted hunt located in the beautiful West Midlands countryside with a spread of hunting country that covers an area of some 50 miles north to south by 30 miles east to west and take in parts of Staffordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire. Our country is a varied mix of pasture and arable crossed by hedges, timber and well-maintained hunt jumps. The Autumn hunting season starts in late August, depending on the harvest, when new and young hounds are prepared and educated ready for our Opening Meet in early November. During the main season hounds meet twice or three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday until the close of the season in mid March.
The hunt provides a vital service to its equestrian and farming community through its fallen stock service . This includes the humane disposal of horses.
The Albrighton & Woodland Hunt extends a warm welcome to visitors and new subscribers.
At all times the Albrighton & Woodland Hunt intends to hunt within the law, performing legal activities permitted by the Hunting Act.
